Abstract: BackgroundHypertrophic osteoarthropathy (HOA) is characterized by several clinical findings, including arthralgia/arthritis, periostosis, and digital clubbing. It can occur as a congenital condition called pachydermoperiostosis, and more commonly, as a secondary manifestation of pulmonary or extrapulmonary diseases or malignancy.
