ABCB1 regulates myeloid-derived suppressor cells-related immune factors in breast cancer

Abstract: Purpose Resistance to standard chemotherapy is a critical problem for breast cancer patients. The ATP-binding cassette (ABC) superfamily transporters actively pump out drugs and play an important role in chemoresistance. ABCB1 (ABC subfamily B, member 1, also named as multidrug resistance protein 1, MDR1) and suppressive myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) potentially involve in chemoresistance of breast cancer.
