Abdominal cocoon in children: A case report and review of literature

Abstract: BACKGROUND Abdominal cocoon or “encapsulating peritoneal sclerosis” (EPS) is an uncommon and rare cause of intestinal obstruction. Only a few cases have been reported in paediatric patients.
