Abdominal hysterectomy and postoperative quality of recovery: emphasis on pain relief

Abstract: Hysterectomy is a widespread surgical intervention in gynecological practice. Open abdominal hysterectomy is accompanied by a significant algogenic afferent impulse from the site of surgical intervention.
