Abstract:Schwannomas are rare benign tumors that are often asymptomatic and identified incidentally on imaging studies undertaken for another purpose. Schwannomas arising from the vestibular nerve are the most common site of identification; however, schwannomas can arise extracranially in any peripheral nerve tissue.
