Aberrant RET expression affects normal mammary gland post-lactation transition, enhancing cancer potential

Abstract: RET is a receptor tyrosine kinase with oncogenic potential in the mammary epithelium. Several receptors with oncogenic activity in the breast are known to participate in specific developmental stages.
