Abstract:Suture granuloma is a rare complication after thyroidectomy and usually manifests as a chronic inflammation mimicking cancer or even tuberculous lymphadenitis and can be expected within the first 2 postoperative years. We report the case of a 53-year-old woman who presented, 27 years after her first hemithyroidectomy, with a sudden onset of a growing lump on the same site.
