As a kind of sensor for real-time feedback and dynamic monitoring of angular velocity and angular displacement of the system, the common photoelectric encoder is widely used in many fields such as new energy electric vehicles, servo closed-loop control systems, industrial control, security monitoring. In order to improve the resolution and accuracy, a kind of optical and magnetic combined encoder which combines photoelectricity and multi-pole magnetoelectricity is designed in this paper, where the light-blocking disk of photoelectric sensor is designed according to the pseudo-random sequence, and the photoelectric coding is used to determine the magnetic interval of multi-pole. The absolute angle is calculated according to the number of multiple circles plus the angle of single circle. The experimental results at different temperatures (−40 C~100 C) show that the accuracy of the proposed combined encoder can reach ±0.08°, which is improved by 0.37° compared with that of the single-pole encoder. Finally, the combined encoder was applied to the pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera of a video surveillance enterprise, and the experiment showed that its repeated positioning accuracy reached ±0.02°, which is greatly improved compared with single-pole encoder.

A double-coil inductive displacement transducer is a non-contact element for measuring displacement and is widely used in large power equipment systems such as construction machinery and agricultural machinery equipment. The type of coil excitation signal has an impact on the performance of the transducer, but there is little research on this. Therefore, the influence of the coil excitation signal on transducer performance is investigated. The working principle and characteristics of the double-coil inductive displacement transducer are analyzed, and the circuit simulation model of the transducer is established. From the aspects of phase shift, linearity, and sensitivity, the effects of a sine signal, a triangle signal, and a pulse signal on the transducer are compared and analyzed. The results show that the average phase shift, linearity, and sensitivity of the sine signal were 11.53°, 1.61%, and 0.372 V/mm, respectively; the average phase shift, linearity and sensitivity of the triangular signal were 1.38°, 1.56%, and 0.300 V/mm, respectively; and the average phase shift, linearity, and sensitivity of the pulse signal were 0.73°, 1.95%, and 0.621 V/mm, respectively. It can be seen that the phase shift of a triangle signal and a pulse signal is smaller than that of a sine signal, which can result in better signal phase-locked processing. The linearity of the triangle signal is better than the sine signal, and the sensitivity of the pulse signal is better than that of the sine signal.

An Absolute Displacement Measurement Method and Its Application in Ship Motion Measurement

Due to the fact that there is no static reference point in ocean space, relative measurement sensors such as laser sensors cannot be applied to the measurement of ship motion. In order to collect the motion signal of a ship in the ocean more accurately, an absolute measurement method for the motion of a ship is proposed. Firstly, the acceleration signal in the heave direction of the ship is obtained by using an acceleration sensor; secondly, the time–frequency domain integration algorithm is used to avoid the problem of the quadratic trend item and the influence of the low-frequency signal, and the ship’s heave displacement value is obtained by integration; finally, the displacement signal measured by the laser sensor and the integrated displacement signal of the acceleration sensor are compared with each other to verify the effectiveness of the absolute measurement of the heave displacement of the ship based on the acceleration sensor. At the same time, an angle sensor is used to measure the roll angle and pitch angle in the motion of the ship, form an absolute measurement system for the motion of the ship, and verify that the measurement points are arranged on the ship, which proves that the system can collect data from the ship in sea areas far from the coast. Motion signals are more advantageous.
