Self-and N 2 -broadened linewidths of NO in the 5.4 11m band have been measured at 163 and 295 K using high resolution Fourier transform spectroscopy. These linewidths have been calculated using the formalism of Robert and Bonamy. The calculated values are in good agreement with the experimental one. Therefore, the same formalism can be reasonably used in order to calculate 02-broadened widths which cannot be easily measured. Air-broadened linewidths calculations have been performed in the temperature range [163-295 K]. From the results the J dependence of the exponent m (J) which gives the temperature dependence of the widths, according to the power law y(T) = y(To) (T ITo)-m(J) has been established.
