Absorption of atmospheric NO2by plants and soils

Abstract: Tracer experiments using uN-labeled N0 2 gas confirmed the operation of two routes in the absorption of NOs-nitrogen by plants. One was direct incorporation through leaves and maybe sterns. The other was the uptake by the roots after NO. was absorbed in the soils.
