Abstract: Treating hypertension by drugs targeting the RAAS either blocking the Angiotensin receptor (ARBs) or inhibiting the Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACEi) have beneficial effects on cardiovascular health, preventing MI, stroke and global CV mortality.
