Abstract:Background:
Extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR) has been used in patients with refractory out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA). However, recovery of organ function and survival are potentially impaired due to microvascular coagulation causing a “no-reflow” phenomenon.
