Abstract:Introduction:
Complex vascular reconstruction such as that of the right ventricle to pulmonary artery (RVPA) and the aortic arch remains challenging due to the various 3D geometry of each patient. Tissue-engineered vascular grafts (TEVG) possess not only excellent antithrombotic and anti-infective properties but also the ability to grow as the patient matures. 3D printed patient-specific TEVG can maintain optimal hemodynamics with the growth of the patient and may improve surgical outcomes.
