Abstract: Introduction: Early physician follow-up after hospital discharge for acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) is recommended by the AHA to prevent early hospital readmission. This recommendation has not been specifically evaluated for heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF).
