Abstract: Introduction: Over 135 genetic loci have been linked to atrial fibrillation (AF), yet the biological pathways of AF pathophysiology remain elusive. Weighted gene coexpression network analysis (WGCNA) constructs gene modules within a network based on correlations in gene expression, and identifies mechanisms related to AF risk.
