Abstract 9957: Utility of Cardiac MRI Assessment of Right Ventricle Function Before LVAD Implantation

Abstract: Introduction: Right ventricular failure (RVF) after left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation is a feared complication. Right ventricle (RV) dysfunction by echocardiogram prior to LVAD implant is a significant risk factor for post-LVAD RVF.
