Abstract P1-07-24: Increased risk of contralateral breast cancer after diagnosis of microscopically invasive breast cancer: SEER 1998-2012

Abstract: Node negative microscopically invasive breast cancer (BC) is frequently associated with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) and considered to have a similar prognosis. We evaluated women with T1micN0M0 (T1mic), DCIS and Stage I BC and report clinical characteristics, risk for subsequent contralateral breast cancer (CBC) and overall survival (OS).
