Abstract: Enhanced invasion and migration into the surrounding tissues are hallmarks of the malignancy of tumor cells. To successfully metastasize, a cancer cell has to detach from the primary tumor, invade into surrounding tissues, and intravasate into blood or lymphatic vessels.
