Abstract: Introduction: The alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (α7nAChR) is the principal mediator of the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway (CAP). CAP is mediated through several signaling pathways, including the JAK2/ STAT3 pathway.
