Abstract:Introduction:
Cerebral vasospasm (CVS) and delayed cerebral ischemia (DCI) are frequently observed after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) and contribute to neurocognitive decline and worse outcomes. We hypothesize that aSAH initiates a cascade of neuroinflammatory events which contributes to the development of DCI.
