Abstraction of Significant Temporal Features of Voltage Sags Recorded in a 25kV Substation.

Abstract: The existing methods to characterise voltage sags use the lowest of the three voltages and the longest duration. Basic quantitative | qualitative voltage sag attributes have been obtained from recorded waveforms in order to increase the number of measures to characterise a voltage sag. Also a method to compare voltage sags have been proposed and applied in sags recorded in a 25 kV substation.
