Abundance of Circulating Preadipocyte Factor 1 in Early Life

Abstract: OBJECTIVESoluble preadipocyte factor 1 (Pref-1) inhibits adipocyte differentiation. De Zegher et al found that fetal growth restriction was associated with increased circulating levels of preadipocyte factor 1 (Pref-1), which inhibits adipocyte differentiation (37).
