Abuse of Chemical Substances Cause Poisoning in Dogs and Cats: A Review

Abstract: Chemical substances are used worldwide as rodenticides, insecticides and herbicides, and also to protect animals against ectoparasites. Poisoning from chemical substances can occur in dogs and cats from both non-accidental and accidental causes. Non-accidental causes include the intentional abuse of chemical substances.
