AC Hopping Conductance in Nanocomposite Films with Ferromagnetic Alloy Nanoparticles in a PbZrTiO3 Matrix

Abstract: In this work, the temperature and frequency dependences of the real part of the admittance [r(f, T)] of annealed nanocomposite films containing Co 45 Fe 45 Zr 10 -based nanoparticles covered with native oxides and embedded in a doped PbZrTiO 3 ferroelectric matrix were studied. The nanocomposites studied were deposited by ion sputtering a complex target in a mixed Ar/O 2 atmosphere followed by a 15-min annealing process (with steps of 25 K) in air in the temperature range of 398 K £ T a £ 573 K. The r(f, T) of… Show more

“…The comparison of SEM, XRD, TEM, SAED, X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES), extended X-ray absorption ne structure (EXAFS), and Möss-bauer data for the studied samples, presented in [3,4,6], has allowed to make the following conclusions concerning their phase structure. Discussion of the obtained σ(x, T ) dependences for the studied samples, belonging to dierent regions A, B, and C in Fig.…”

“…The reason is that matrix and nanoparticles both contain heavy elements (Zr, Ti) and cannot be clearly separated by TEM. However, combination of techniques (Mössbauer spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, XRD, X-ray absorption) clearly reveals the formation of well-separated a-FeCo(Zr), FeCo-based oxides and PZT-like phases in films [11,[30][31][32]. Mössbauer spectra of (FeCoZr) x (PZT) (100-x) films synthesized in atmospheres with two different oxygen pressures are shown in Fig.…”

“…3a) demonstrates full nanoparticles oxidation. It consists of two doublets characterizing different types of oxides, namely Fe(Co) 3 [11,30,31]. However, XRD of the film (see insert in upper Fig.…”

“…Thus, in general, the force vector can have any direction [2]. These forces can be radial (transverse) and axial (lengthwise) ones, therefore these two components of the force can be calculated and analysed independently [3]. Also, the two components influence different parts of the whole transformer and it is necessary to obtain the two components for design purposes.…”
