Accelerated evolution of an Lhx2 enhancer shapes mammalian social hierarchies

Abstract: Social hierarchies emerged during evolution, and social rank influences behavior and health of individuals. However, the evolutionary mechanisms of social hierarchy are still unknown in amniotes.
