Accidental swallowing of dentures: case report and literature review

Abstract: <p class="abstract">Unintentional ingestion of dentures is relatively common. Several factors have been implicated in increasing the risk of accidental denture swallowing including neurological impairments, dementia, cerebral hemorrhage, intoxication, and learning difficulties.
