Accumulation of some heavy metals by metal resistant avirulent Bacillus anthracis PS2010 isolated from Egypt

Abstract: The bacteria with a high growth rate were isolated from polluted industrial waste water. The bacteria Bacillus anthracis PS2010 have variable resistant to heavy metals such as Cd, Cu, Co, Zn and Pb. Out of which the minimal inhibitory concentrations were 0.6, 2.0, 0.8, 4.0 and 3.0 mM, respectively.
