Pediatric hand burns are difficult to treat, with thin tissue with critical structures close to the skin and the small scale of the anatomy of children’s hands. Additionally, pediatric burns can be challenging due to the concern for donor-site morbidity and the paucity of donor sites when reconstructing these wounds.
