Achievements and Challenges of Ukraine’s European Integration

Abstract: Conceptual approaches to the definition of global cities are studied. The formation of global cities is analysed by regions. After an analysis of the world rankings of global cities, the author determines that the five leading cities – New York, London, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong – have remained unchanged in recent years.
