Acoustic calibration of the signal propagation path in the shallow water

Abstract: The propagation of low-frequency pulsed frequency-modulated signals in the shallow water (80 m deep) is analyzed. The characteristics of the first five modes in the frequency range from 25 to 155 Hz are found by the correlation analysis of signal spectra. The group velocities and mode attenuation coefficients are used to reconstruct the acoustic characteristics of the sea bottom.
