“…An examination of results obtained reveals that the mixtures examined have a wide range of applications in pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, surfactants, lubricant additives, fragrances, corrosion inhibitors, anti-cracking agents, emulsifiers for resins, and pheromones. − These binary mixtures are used in manufacturing applications such as heat transfer, fluid flow, mass transfer, and chemical separation. On the basis of various applications of the components of liquid mixtures and the literature survey, the present systems were selected. − This study reports the density (ρ) and speed of sound ( u ) of binary liquid mixtures of tributylamine + alkyl (C 1 –C 5 ) acetate at different compositions and at temperatures ranging from 293.15 to 313.15 K as data on the same systems are missing in the literature. Using experimental data of density (ρ) and speed of sound ( u ), parameters such as excess molar volume ( V m E ) have been derived.…”
