Acoustical design of a radio broadcast studio using wood-frame construction

Abstract: A major-market, adult-contemporary radio station renovated a turn-of-the-century carriage house into offices and studios. Constraints imposed by the existing building shell included floor-to-ceiling heights and wood-frame construction. Acoustical performance was given top priority by the owner, to assure the finest broadcast facility possible.
