Actin filaments and tumorigenicity in a fischer rat embryo fibroblast cell line (3Y1) transformed by ultraviolet‐irradiated HSV

Abstract: The characteristics of the cytoskeleton of a Fischer rat embryo fibroblast cell line (3Y1) transformed by ultraviolet (UV)-irradiated HSV were studied by indirect immunofluorescence using anti-actin IgG. Parental 3Y1 cells possessed well-developed actin filaments, while 3Y1 cells transformed by UV-irradiated HSV also retained well-developed actin filaments.
