Activation of Heparin Cofactor II by Calcium Spirulan

Abstract: Heparin cofactor II (HCII) is a plasma serine protease inhibitor whose ability to inhibit ␣-thrombin is accelerated by a variety of sulfated polysaccharides in addition to heparin and dermatan sulfate.
