Abstract: We investigate an active dual-control metamaterial leveraging electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT), exploiting near-field interactions between electric and magnetic dipole resonances. Our hybrid strip element, combining metal and vanadium dioxide, generates electric dipole resonance, while split-ring resonators integrating metal and photosensitive silicon induce magnetic dipole resonance.
