English songs have been widely used by learners as a medium to learn vocabulary. This qualitative study explored Indonesian students' experiences in using English songs as a medium to learn vocabulary autonomously outside in-class learning. Data were collected through in-depth interview to four second-year English Department students who reported using English songs to help them acquire vocabulary autonomously. The results of the interview showed that the participants preferred slow beat tempo of songs to obtain clear understanding on the words used in the songs. They also reported that the decision to use English songs was driven by their needs to the exposures of authentic and contextual English lexicons, the representations of learners' feelings and emotions through songs, the sense of enjoyable atmosphere songs created, and vocabulary retention. While listening to English songs, cognitive and metacognitive strategies were also applied by the participants to help them acquire vocabulary more effectively. At last, the study was concluded by proposing teachers' roles to enhance learners' autonomy in vocabulary learning through English songs.

In developing students’ writing competency, teacher’s strategy and engagement in writing process is very crucial. The strategy of teaching writing should not only focus on language aspects but also should help the students in developing their critical thinking and problem solving skill. The current study investigated the effect of midful learning on students’ writing comptency. This study was an experiment study with posttest only control group design. 71 EFL students were involved in this study. In collecting the data,this study used writing competency test and rubric for assessing. The collected data were analzyed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The result of descprtive statistics showed that the mean score of writing competency of experiment group (82.25) was higher than the control group (78.67). A significant mean difference is identified from the result of t test (Sig. .005.) The result of effect size test showed a medium effec (.68) t. Thus, it can be concluded that mindful learning significantly affects students’ writing competency. Discussions and suggestions are further presented.

In today’s society, with the gradual improve5ment of material living standards, people are also more in pursuit of their own spiritual enjoyment. The study of piano has gradually become a way for people to enrich their spiritual life, and more and more people attach importance to it. In the field of piano teaching, the two-piano method is a unique form of playing the piano. In order to solve the problem that the recognition accuracy of the sequence of two pianos is seriously reduced in the environment of noise and reverberation, this paper proposes an auxiliary training analysis system based on the neural network model. Firstly, in order to learn the nonlinear relationship between the sound order and the target task label from the massive data, a multitask preprocessing method combining speech enhancement and detection is used to supervise the deep neural network training. Then, convolutional neural network is used to construct the end-to-end recognition system, and the initial recognition results are checked and corrected by the phonological sequence model. Finally, the sequence recognition is carried out under the condition of noise, and the articulation is improved by speech enhancement front-end module, and then the sequence recognition model is used for recognition. Compared with traditional training methods, it is proved that our method is effective in improving the training efficiency and performance quality of players. At the same time, this method breaks through the limitation of traditional training method of double piano, creates a more scientific training means, and realizes the practice and application of artificial intelligence technology in the teaching of double piano.
