Active screening for multiresistant Enterobacteriaceae

Abstract: The control of multiresistant organisms (MROs) is made difficult by a large reservoir of unrecognised, asymptomatic colonised patients. Hence, active screening is generally used as part of a multifaceted infection control intervention.
