“…Em 1961, Hahn e Muan estudaram o sistema MgO-NiO através do método de equilíbrio com gás (H2/CO2) com o intuito de verificar se este sistema apresenta algum desvio da idealidade, obtendo medidas experimentais de 18 pontos de atividade química nas temperaturas de 1100ºC e 1300ºC. Neste trabalho Hahn et Muan concluíram que a solução sólida MgO-NiO é ideal [9]. Em 1971, Evans e Muan avaliaram o sistema MgO-NiO através de ensaios de equilíbrio com níquel metálico e atmosfera controlada, obtendo 18 dados de atividade química do NiO na temperatura de 1400ºC.…”
