Abstract: Objective: Deficiency of 25-OH Vitamin D (25OHD) and activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) are both known cardiovascular risk factors. Some studies have shown that 25OHD has a suppressive effect on RAAS but data in literature are conflicting.
