Acute heart failure with accompanying chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Abstract: Beta blockers, a proven life-saving therapy in the setting of chronic systolic HF, were found to be less frequently prescribed before discharge in the presence of de novo AHF with accompanying COPD.
