Acute Myocardial Infarction after Switching from Warfarin to Dabigatran

Abstract: Dabigatran etexilate is a recently approved direct thrombin inhibitor (DTI), which is superior to warfarin in the prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF).
