Abstract:Hypothyroidism, particularly in the context of autoimmune conditions such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, can lead to a variety of neuropsychiatric symptoms. While cognitive and mood disturbances are frequently encountered, psychosis is a rare and often unexpected complication. This case report describes a middle-aged female with a history of thyroid dysfunction who presented with acute psychosis, including delusions and suicidal ideation.
