Abstract:Endovenous ablation is a common procedure performed on the superficial veins of the lower extremities to treat symptoms of venous insufficiency and varicose veins. While endovenous ablation is a minimally invasive procedure, patients may develop thrombotic complications including endovenous heat-induced thrombosis.
