Acute toxicity of cyanide in aerobic respiration: Theoretical and experimental support for murburn explanation

Abstract: AbstractThe inefficiency of cyanide/HCN (CN) binding with heme proteins (under physiological regimes) is demonstrated with an assessment of thermodynamics, kinetics, and inhibition constants.
