“…Our RNA sequencing results suggest that exogenous high steroidal treatment of adrenocortical cells, especially with 17OHP, activates genes involved in cell proliferation and progression. ADAMTS14 protein, a metallopeptidase that degrades the extracellular matrix and its components, and thus increases cell migration and invasion, was found to be expressed in the tumor cells [ 49 , 50 ].
