Adaptability Analysis of Four-Leg Hydraulic Support with Large Mining Height under Impact Dynamic Load

Abstract: In order to comprehensively analyze the adaptability of four-leg hydraulic support with large mining height under impact dynamic load, this paper adopts HyperMesh software to conduct a flexible pretreatment for the top beam, shield beam, and front and rear rods. The numerical simulation model of four-leg hydraulic support is established with ADAMS, where variable stiffness spring is used to replace columns to simulate their elastic characteristics. Building on analysis of the specific parameters of the support… Show more

“…It can be seen from Figure 5a that when the impact load moves along the positive direction of the X-axis, the impact response coefficient of the hinge point of the front column shows an increasing trend, and the column will have obvious the eccentric load effect. The analysis of reference [8] also supports this result. The closer to the origin direction, the smaller the eccentric load effect of the column is.…”

“…Xie et al [ 13 ] studied the load-bearing characteristics of the top beam in a full range by constructing the spatial mechanical model of the top beam separation body of the four-column support. Wang et al [ 14 ] established the plane mechanics model of four-column supporting shield support to study its adaptation. Ren et al [ 15 ] designed the 1:2 reduced-scale hydraulic support to carry out the dynamic impact test and to study the response characteristics of hydraulic support under dynamic impact load.…”

“…By applying concentrated impact load to the canopy of the shield support of the experimental test bed and numerical simulation model, respectively, the energy transfer and dissipation characteristics of the two-leg support system are studied. To obtain the adaptability of fourleg hydraulic support with large mining height, Wang et al [29] applied different impact loads to the canopy and goaf shield respectively, and the evaluation method of the canopy and goaf shield under impact is obtained.…”
