Adaptive output-feedback control of induction motors

Abstract: I n this paper, we design an adaptive controller for the induction motor which ensures global asymptotic rotor velocity tracking performance and global exponential rotor flux tracking. I n addition, the controller compensates for parametric uncertainty associated with the mechanical subsystem and only requires rotor velocity measurements. Experimental results are provided to illustrate the performance of the controller.
