Adaptive pole removal control for a batch polymerization reactor

Abstract: A systematic method of controller design is introduced to determine the overall characteristic behaviour developed on process pole removal. The time delay compensation is automatically incorporated in the proposed control law. The implemented tuning parameters in the law are confined to the range between 0 and 1 to guarantee the stability of the overall control system.
