Abstract:In this paper, the performance of adaptive turbo equalization for nonlinearity compensation (NLC) is investigated. A turbo equalization scheme is proposed where a recursive leastsquares (RLS) algorithm is used as an adaptive channel estimator to track the time-varying intersymbol interference (ISI) coefficients associated with inter-channel nonlinear interference (NLI) model. The estimated channel coefficients are used by a MIMO 2 × 2 soft-input soft-output (SISO) linear minimum mean square error (LMMSE) equal… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
