Abstract: It is well established that sevoflurane exposure leads to widespread neuronal cell death in the developing brain. Adenosine deaminase acting on RNA-1 (ADAR1) dependent adenosine-to-inosine (A-to-I) RNA editing is dynamically regulated throughout brain development.
